How to get involved in Organic Earth Week

Join us to celebrate Organic Earth Week from 22-27 March!

Healthy Soil for a Healthy Planet

All week, we will be discovering why organic farming is a better choice for our soils and the planet, and why brands and businesses should consider organic certification to build a more sustainable future.

Find out more about how you can get involved below!

1. Attend an exclusive seminar with adventurer Todd Sampson!

It’s no biggie, it’s just the one and only adventurer, documentary-maker AND founder of the Earth Hour initiative Todd Sampson joining us for an EXCLUSIVE seminar!

That’s right! From 4pm-6pm on Friday 26th March at Perfect Potion, Banyo Qld, Todd Sampson will be joining us to talk all about his motivation behind Earth Hour, the “hour of no power” which falls on 27th March, and how the organic industry is supporting a more sustainable approach to agriculture and the environment. Todd will also be opening the floor to your questions, so you can ask away (physical event only)!

Can’t make it to the physical event? Join us on livestream! Virtual tickets are FREE for Bud Organic Club members.

Spaces are limited so make sure you book now and don’t miss out!

2. Share your organic and sustainability stories

Get involved in Organic Earth Week by sharing your organic stories, recipes, hints and tips on our social media pages. We love to hear your stories!

Tag us on social media @budorganicclub and use the hashtags #OrganicEarthWeek and #ChooseOrganic

3. Join Earth Hour on 27th March

We all saw the difference that lockdown made to our environment, so there’s no better year to make the #Switchfor Nature. For just one hour, switch off the lights and join the rest of the world by doing your bit to save our planet.

Join Earth Hour on Saturday 27 March 2021 at 8:30 pm local time. Find out more here.

4. Make a small change

Changes don’t have to start big. Small changes can add up to make a big difference. Choosing to walk or cycle instead of driving, turning off the lights or air con when not in use, investing in reusable items instead of single-use, and switching to organic products are just some of the ways you can start to make a difference.
