Week One - See the Big Picture

Cleaver's Organic

Treat animals well, treat people well and treat the land well - a mission to become the world's most sustainable meat producer.

Week 1 of Australian Organic Awareness Month is all about seeing the big picture of our nation’s certified organic industry, and there are few brands more established than Cleaver’s Organic Meat.

The Cleaver’s brand is owned by Hewitt Foods, a global food producer with the largest integrated supply chain of certified organic meat and more than 200,000 livestock across Australia. The scale of this business allows Cleaver’s to deliver high quality organic free-range beef, lamb and chicken products for consumers across the nation.

Animal Welfare Certified

Since the operation began in 1998, the Cleaver’s brand has been guided by a simple philosophy; treat animals well, treat people well and treat the land well.

As all Cleaver’s products are certified organic according to the Australian Certified Organic Standard (ACOS), consumers can be assured that all animals are free-range with certified lifetime organic traceability. This means that livestock has been raised with no antibiotics, no synthetic chemicals, no added hormones and no GMOs.

A Commitment to Australian Farming

All Cleaver’s meat comes from an expansive network of certified organic Australian farms. By only working with Australian farmers who care just as much about their animals and their land, Cleaver’s are able to maintain a high level of quality across their products. In return, the farmers are supported and empowered to remain as custodians of their land for generations to come.
